Finding maternity clothes that I like is the hardest part of pregnancy (for me anyways), so here I am, in my endless search for "pretty" maternity clothes...
Not only is getting bigger and bigger by the minute a horrible sensation, but being able to dress that fuller body is even a worse thing...
When I was pregnant with Olivia I got by with a few pants and a couple of nice shirts and by the time she got here I was already so sick of wearing the same clothes for 9 months, so I didn't bother to keep any of the outfits...
This time around, I have bought a couple of pants and no shirts and I'm starting to feel like I need to go shopping... oh God! what a challenge!
I went to Target today and tried on two of the most horrible pants I've ever seen, I looked so bad that it was depressing...
I need to know that someone else feels this way about being pregnant and wearing this ugly outfits that are made for pregnant women....
I will go out again later today to continue with my search... this is a real mission!

I am right there with you! I bought 3 pairs of pants and a few shirts and thought that would do it. I was sadly mistaken. My non-maternity shirts look more like crop tops these days and even the maternity pants I bought earlier on are looking pretty terrible. Wishing you well on your quest for something that looks stylish! And make sure to leave me tips on where you find good stuff - I've got to get some shopping done too! :-)
Since I'm a first timer at shopping for maternity clothes, I had to figure out for myself that wearing my size 5's with a bella band wasn't doing it, and neither would the maternity low banded pants.
If you think your not going to keep any of the clothes again and kinda you know what you already like - try shopping at TJ Max, Marshall's, Normstrom's Rack Room, Burlington or whatever other cheapie stores that carry nice things you may have in your area for some more choices.
I can say I'm def. loving my petite maternity clothes (with the high stretchy belly)! A: I still feel normal not having to wear MC Hammer looking pants and B: the stretch will hopefully last me a few months!
As for maternity shirts, I have yet to figure out some middle ground of my pre-pregnancy shirts and the small maternity one's that I have just bought(either one is too short or the other too long *groan*).
If you find anything cool- please- pass it on! :-) Feel better! Your not alone
