Week 5

I'm almost at the end of week 5 of this pregnancy and things are a lot better now. My morning sickness is getting a lot better and I don't get as fatigued during the day...
Every day we get more excited because things are more and more real. I still get very hungry during the day and I have to watch what I eat so that I don't gain too much weight.
Next Monday we will have our first prenatal visit and we're excited about that too!
I will continue to post stories about this pregnancy....

Week 4

The news are just settling in and we are finally starting to believe that we are in fact expecting another baby....
I haven't been feeling too well; I've had tons of nausea and heartburn and I feel very exhausted during the day..... all I want to do is sleep. Also, I have been very hungry and whenever I eat I feel heartburn again.
In addition to the heartburn and fatigue, I have been feeling very emotional with lots of crying and moodiness...not very cool!
I feel like my belly is going to pop faster this time around because some of my pants are already tight around the waist... I think I'm in for a long journey!
Today I was supposed to have my first prenatal appointment, however I decided to postpone it until December 1st, when I will be about 7 weeks along.

Baby #2 is on board!

Iggy and I are happy to announce that we are currently expecting baby #2. After several months of praying for another baby, God has granted us the miracle of life once again, I took a test this morning (well, several) and it was confirmed, we will have another baby in July 2009. The estimated due date is currently July 23rd, 2009, but this will have to be validated by the doctor. The first prenatal appointment is scheduled for Dec. 1st, at which point we will get an average due date and probably a date for our first ultrasound! Thank you God for listening to our prayers!!

I have created this blog to keep our friends and family up to date with the pregnancy progress. I will update it every week with a little summary of the events of the week that I'm finishing up... so if I'm hitting 5 weeks, I will do an update of week 4 and so on.. until the baby is here!
